Who controls your data
Ad Blocker: Stop Popups & Ads is the name of this website and Android app. We are the controller for the account, support and website-measurement data described here. Whop controls card data it collects for a website payment. Google controls data it collects for a Google Play payment.
What we collect
We collect the account email, the password hash held by Firebase Authentication, subscription status for a website plan, plan name, start date, renewal date, and the messages you send to support. We do not store your card number on this website.
Cookies and the privacy notice
The site needs a saved choice for this notice. If you allow measurement, we use PostHog to record pages you open, clicks on labeled buttons, and a masked session recording. Fields you type into are masked. If you choose only necessary, we do not start that measurement. You can change the choice later from Privacy choices in the footer.
Pop-ups, permissions and notifications
Android permission prompts and app notifications are processed on your device. We do not receive the text of other apps' notifications, your contacts, or your photos because of those prompts. If you contact support about a notification, we only receive what you choose to send.
What the app does not send us
The app is not designed to send us the pages you visit, the ads it blocks, or the contents of your browser. Ad blocking runs on the device.
Why we use it
We use account and billing data to create the account, provide a website subscription, send the set-password email, show the plan in My account, and answer support. The legal bases are the contract and, for a support message, your request. Site measurement is used only after you allow it, to understand which pages and buttons people use.
How long we keep it
We keep the account and website-subscription record while the account exists, and longer when we need it for tax, fraud, or accounting. You can ask us to delete the account by emailing support. We may keep a billing record where the law requires it. Whop and Google keep their own payment records under their policies.
Processors
Firebase (Google) stores the account. Whop processes a website payment. PostHog measures the site only after you allow it. They may process data in the United States and other countries.
Children
The service is not for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, email support and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, and you can object to measurement by choosing only necessary. Email support@adblock.website. You can also complain to the Israel Privacy Protection Authority, or to the privacy authority in your country.
